Our small animal practice based in Cambridge are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Receptionist to join the team. The role will be predominantly based at our Barnwell Road practice, with the occasional shift at our Beehive practice (situated approx. 1 mile apart). This means you’ll get to be part of two amazing teams who are nothing short of passionate about animal healthcare!
Both practices are bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and have state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.
Person Specification
Our partners, Hayley and Benedetta are looking for an individual who is warm yet professional, a strong communicator and someone who operates with confidence. Previous receptionist experience would be advantageous however training will be provided for the right candidate. Above all else, you will be driven and passionate about delivering an outstanding service for all of our clients and their animals, every single time.
The successful candidate will meet and greet clients, book appointments, deal with any queries, take payments and communicate confidently with customers. As this is a busy and demanding role you must be computer literate and able to cope well under pressure.
The hours are full time working 40 hours per week, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. Our practice is open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday, with the shifts covering the opening hours.
